Bespoke, Not Generic

Custom Transcriptions

The same editorial rigor behind our published catalogue — Grid Alignment, EQ Isolation, Physical Verification, Master Proofing — applied to the piece you choose.

Who This Is For

This service is for serious bassists and musicians who need a specific piece transcribed with the same precision as our published editions — for private study, not for publication.

How It Works

01

Send Us the Piece

Share a link to the recording, and a performance video if one exists — it helps us verify fingerings and technique.

02

We Evaluate Feasibility

We assess the instrument, the notation you need (standard notation, tablature, or both), and the overall density and complexity of the piece.

03

You Receive a Personalized Quote

Pricing and delivery time are quoted specifically for your piece — never a flat rate, and never guessed.

04

We Transcribe and Deliver

Once the quote is accepted, we transcribe note by note and deliver in the format you need.

How Pricing Works

We don't price by genre or by the minute. Every quote combines a fixed evaluation fee with a variable cost tied to the actual number of notes and rests in the piece — a deliberately democratic approach: a simple, sparse bass line and a dense, virtuosic solo are priced on the real work involved, not on assumptions about style.

Delivery time works the same way: it depends on the piece's complexity, and on whether you need standard notation, tablature, or both. Every quote includes an estimated delivery date and a clear breakdown of how the price was calculated.
